Cornwall Council's 'Making Space for Nature' (MSFN) initiative looks at creating greener spaces in community areas, as well as nurturing and developing existing green spaces. The more abundant these spaces, the more wildlife that is encouraged to make them their homes. We all reap the mental benefits of immersing ourselves in nature, and so during Spring 2021, I was commissioned by Cornwall Council to promote the MSFN project. Visiting woodlands and green spaces in the Penryn and Falmouth areas, I took photos using various camera techniques to showcase some of nature's colourful qualities. The images were received with great approval and exhibited at the Falmouth Art Gallery during the G7 summit in Cornwall.
